Validity of the Rank Size Rule
The Rank Size Rule is not valid in The Bahamas. When comparing the estimations of each city to its population, there exists a large gap. This country's economy and population varies due to tourism, where people come from different countries to see the sights and entertainment in this country. Because the tourists most often don't permanently inhabit the country, this affects the population for each city. Nassau is the site for the most activity, not in the other cities. Because of these reasons, the Rank Size Rule is not valid.
